Why to visit Boating in Triveni Sangam Triveni Sangam is one of the most revered locations in Central India (Prayagraj). Three rivers—the Ganga, the Yamuna, and the Saraswati meet there (which is a mythical river, supposed to have dried up more than 4000 years ago). Hindu legend holds that taking a bath in the revered Triveni Sangam can wash away all of your sins and release you from the reincarnation cycle. In addition, the Sangam itself is tranquil location to explore. A sight to witness is the brownish Ganga meeting the somewhat greenish Yamuna. You may distinguish between the two rivers' water colours by taking a boat journey to their calmly running waters, the Ganga and the Yamuna. Moreover, there are improvised wooden banks built at the Sangam. So, devotees can take a bath there if they so choose. You can take a bath in the water because it is clean, especially in the winter. It is one of the locations where the once every 12 years Kumbh Mela is hosted. In Indian mythology, the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati are all greatly adored, making them of utmost religious significance.
